It has become a fashion to condemn the modern age and human mannerism, which almost to everyone has reached its lowest ebb and seems to have no hope of redemption. People often say that the world has reached its worst possible decay and now our human world needs some incarnation of God or the birth of some great saints to take man back to the golden age of Satiyuga. Everyone has his or her own dream of that era of unending and indefinable happiness and bliss. The period, when man would have nothing but joy and happiness, is possible only when god interferes in the scheme of things. There would be no pain, suffering or sorrow, not even the slightest thought that could create any discomfort.
How Utopian seems the thought of a God-figure redeeming man of all his worries and sufferings, all his anxieties and tensions! Many would like this to happen and many would treat it as no more than a ‘Mid-summer Night Dream’. But the serious question in this amusing situation is whether we human beings are really ready to receive that ‘God’ or ‘Saint’ or Great Man’–call him or her whatever you like?
God cannot ignore the sufferings and pain of His children for long and He can come anytime. If our cry of pain and call are sincere and serious, His coming too is as certain as you read these lines and remember Him.
