natural flow of energy

You are energy: Just flow

Sister Jenna states, "When we realize our soul as energy, which is to flow, we become acutely aware to this law of nature."

Like it or not, we are all energies moving around; taking, giving, bouncing, reacting, and absorbing. All of it reveals who we think we are, how we expect people to treat us, and frankly, what we are presently.

We have the tendency to process the vibrations or energy of others. I call it ‘scanning.’ It is this subtle innate mechanism of feeling in to the complex mixture of the thoughts, feelings, and attitudes with one another that makes the journey of self-compassion and wisdom so compelling.

We are alerted by a negative presence or scenario, and if insulted or criticised, the heart feels restricted or it might pump faster. If we are praised and appreciated the heart feels strong and empowered. But, where does the trigger come from? Soul. It has a natural flow of energy and anything that blocks the flow creates a sense of threat or fear. If you were to sit with someone who has a crystal ball who could see your deepest memories that the soul is still holding on to, it might amaze you. You may feel relief, signaled that it is indeed time to let go and allow the self to flow once again.

When we develop a practice of observing our reactions and in what areas we are triggered, we can regain our pattern of flow and stop being comfortable with the blockages of the energy of soul. Humiliating, defending, blaming, criticizing, disliking, competing, jealousy are all blockages to our innate energy of soul. If the soul is not flowing, its energy is low. When we realize our soul as energy, which is to flow, we become acutely aware to this law of nature. A person who is passionately invested in being an instrument of positive change would pay attention to this flow and recognize the tremendous benefit of not compromising the great force and benefit that comes from a flow of energy.

In adverse or volatile situations the soul is able to maneuver through it like a saint in a three-piece suit. If we balance pure intention and remain above attachments while maintaining a sense of grace and dignity, negative emotions or situations that surface won’t have an effect nor add to any further blockage. Potentially, the force of our flow could transform the adverse situation. It will most definitely build a more powerful soul who flows through life, not blocked like traffic in Washington DC during rush hour.
